  Staff go the whole nine yards here. Diving in El Cabron ; there are some beautiful fish, big shoals to see. The water is generally excellent. Ive been lucky enough to see Angel sharks, rays, turtles, nudibranchs, blennies - the works. What make this a good place to dive is the extra service you get from the team at Davy Jones. Their expertise & enthusiasm for the area is clear and they love their work. Always on hand to help with equipment or just getting in & out of the water. I'll be going back.

  A fantastic dive centre! After having a wonderful time with them last year, I had to go back again this year. Brian and his team are excellent dive guides, spotting angel sharks and large octopus that you could easily miss. It's a fun, relaxed atmosphere and they work around your holiday. The El Cabron Marine Reserve is beautiful, and the centre is a great place to relax in the sun between dives.

  Day three, fun dive in morning then search and recovery adventure dive in afternoon. Swell had kicked up so getting in and out was like Coasteering!

  I really enjoy diving in Gran Canaria with Brian and his team at Davy Jones Diving as I know I will be looked after and shown some amazing dive sites. I first met the team in 2004 and trusted them so much that I have been diving with them two or three times a year since then, and no matter how often we do the same routes, every dive seems to be fresh and different. I have seen angel sharks, rays, seahorses, pufferfish and many more creatures that they discover with their sharp eyes and expert local knowledge. They always look after me and make sure I dive safely without it seeming to be an imposition, and I always really enjoy diving with Eduardo as he is so calm and relaxed in the water, and I know where he is from his humming! I know I can relax in the garden of their dive centre and feel at home, and then see something new and unusual in the El Cabrón Marine Reserve. I am already dreaming of my next visit!

  I also want to point out the subject of safety. Unfortunately I have experience dive centres in the past where safety checks are missed, where pressure is put on you to use as little air as possible, and standard safety is ignored. This is certainly not the case at Davy Jones. You are in very good hands, and safety is no.1 on their list. It is a comfortable environment where divers of all skills can relax and enjoy what Gran Canarian waters can offer.

  Me and my son were diving with Davy Jones in November. My son did his advanced open water and I together we did the Nitrox course. We chose Dave Jones because a friend recommended Raymond Hermans as an excellent dive master and teacher. We spend an entire week in Arinage did some outstanding dives with Raymond. We had a fantastic time, saw loads of beautfil fish and in the end an angelshark. Next time Gand Canaria we definitly will step by and have a couple more dives with Davy Jones. If you want to go diving on Grand Canaria - Davy Jones is definitly the place to go!
